MP3 Lease License Agreement
This agreement is between Da Booth Studios LLC (the “Licensor”), producer credited as Prod. by Mike Savage, and Your Name (the “Licensee”). It covers the instrumental named below (the “Beat”). The Licensee accepted these terms when completing the purchase.

2. Grant of rights
The Licensor grants the Licensee a worldwide, non-exclusive license to record vocals over the Beat to create the Song, and to reproduce, distribute, stream, and perform the Song within the limits in section 1.
The Licensor may license the Beat to other artists. If the Beat is later sold exclusively, this license stays valid until its limits are reached.
Because other artists may use the Beat, the Licensee may not register the Song or the Beat with YouTube Content ID or similar fingerprinting services.
3. Credit
The Licensee must credit the producer as “Prod. by Mike Savage” wherever credits for the Song appear, including streaming metadata, video descriptions, and physical packaging.
4. Ownership, publishing and royalties
The Licensor keeps all of its rights in the Beat. This agreement is a license, not a sale of the Beat itself.
The Licensee owns their lyrics, vocals, and the master recording of the Song, subject to this license and to the Licensor's royalty shares below.
Publishing (50% to the Licensor). Unless the Licensor agrees otherwise in writing, the composition of the Song is split 50% to the Licensor (music) and 50% to the Licensee (lyrics and melody). The Licensee will list the Licensor's 50% share whenever the Song is registered with a performing rights organization, publishing administrator, or distributor, and each party collects its own share.
Master royalties (50% to the Licensor). Unless the Licensor agrees otherwise in writing, the Licensor is entitled to 50% of all master royalties the Song earns, meaning all money received by or credited to the Licensee for the master recording of the Song, including streams, downloads, sales, YouTube and other monetized video, sync, and any other use. The Licensee will set up this split through their distributor's royalty-split feature (for example DistroKid Teams or TuneCore Splits) naming the Licensor at mike@daboothtx.com, or, where splits are not available, pay the Licensor's share within 30 days after the end of each calendar quarter with a statement of earnings.
These royalty shares last for the life of the Song, including after any limit in section 1 is reached, and survive the end of this license.
5. Restrictions
The Licensee may not resell, sublicense, share, or give away the Beat or its files, or release the Beat without new vocals.
The Licensee may not claim to have produced the Beat.
Using the Song in film, TV, advertising, or video games requires a separate license.
6. General
The Licensor states that it has the right to grant this license and has not knowingly included any uncleared samples in the Beat.
The Licensor's total liability under this agreement is limited to the price the Licensee paid for this license.
Because files are delivered digitally, all sales are final once the files are delivered.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. It is the entire agreement between the parties for this license.
